Had rocksliders and a bashplate custom made and fitted by Nico from Naukluft in Pretoria at a very reasonable price. Good service. Having fun at Buffalo Gorge in December.

    Hi Mark:

Those mags look great - are they 15", and where did you find them?

Paul - yes 16" Merit Racing mags. Fitted by Mahindra East Rand to replace the steel rims that had flat spots when I bought the vehicle at the end of 2009.

Those mags looks almost the same as the A-Line's I've got, you can get them from Autoquip Centurion in 15 and 16. I paid R2500 for 4 without new tyres. Here you can see mine.

Thanks guys! Whats the largest size tyre you can get fit on those 16's before you need to lift or cut? ScorpTurbo, looks like you've got some decent size rubber on there.

Naaa, those are the original 235 75 15" Bridgestone tires. The offset on those rims pushes them out from under the body a bit. The rims is a bit wider than the steel ones so the tyre does sit and look wider. The wider track makes a huge difference in handling and looks. With the OEM rims the Scorpio was described as looking like a fat chick with thin ancles. Mine doesn't look like that anymore.

I think you can go up to 245 75 15 or a 245 70 16 tyre before you will have to do mods to keep the tyre from rubbing on the body and chassis.
With the offset of my wheels I wont be able to go much bigger as the wheel already sometimes rubs the bottom of the bumper and mudflat when I turn the wheel.

Here you can see ho much wider she stands than OEM, at least 3-4inches wider track. But still looking tastefull. I dont like the look of some bakies and SUV's where the tyre hangs out the side too much.

Looks awesome!! I still got the fat chick that looks like shes vrot and about to fall over. And I've got 245/70/16's! Amazing what a difference the offset makes.
Gotta get a set of those mags - I'm sure my 245's will fit the A line 16" - gonna call Autoquip now!!
