Yes unfortunately not many of them on the road, and thats a pity. They are very capable 4x4's and really tough. Been driving it for more than a year now without any complains. Had to fix a few thing when I bought it, and luckily I could get everything from our local Daihatsu dealer in Vereeniging, the guy there knows very much about the Rocky and assured me that all spares is availible, unfortunately you have to wait sometimes for it, but some spares they do have in stock at the warehouse. And yes, it is expensive, but I dont own anything on the Rocky, so I dont mind spending a little more for spares, at least I dont have a monthly payment. One thing I can sy, so far it has been very reliable and also not a bad fuel consumption. On average I get about 9.3KM/L, the best I ever got was 10.2KM/L.

    What engine does it have?

There's one standing in the complex where I live. Cobwebs gathering in the wheel arches. So sad.

No, I don't know the owner.
The parking bays are marked with unit numbers, so I guess I could go knock on his door if I had reason to.

Will it be much to ask of you to find out why the car is just standing there? I would really appreciate it.
