So who is going camping this weekend?

Pitched our tent this afternoon for a weekend of camping at Jamaka in the Cederberg. The moon is so bright it looks like the sun rising. Needles to say, we won’t be visiting the observatory this weekend. A wine tasting will however be on the itinerary.

Can confirm, only the wine tasting was to be enjoyed. What helped was that we got to taste 17 wines in total. Bought a bottle or two. Wind was hectic at camp during the night though.

Loved Willemsrus but if you hate ladders have a look at Summit Everest ..2 steps into Bed ..We bought ours in Nov and stayed 4 nights at willemsrus to try out

The no music is the best thing about that place. The new owners are putting a lot of effort into the maintenance. Loved it. Glad you enjoyed it

Enjoyed a lekker thunderstorm Friday afternoon...

Enjoyed the game walking freely through the camp, Wildebeest grazing 5m from our setup early evening.

Pity those Sotho speaking guys that camped 200m from us had no clue how to lower their voices below 120 decibels....

Try to get the most western site, next to the reserved for disabled spots, no real shade but the animals come graze there

Unfortunately I will not be camping this weekend, but definately suggest Willem's Rus...been there about 3 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it...great place...great conditions.
