We stayed over for 2 nights on our way back from Moz in July. Not many people camping at the time so it was nice and quiet. Game drive was ok but our 2010 month long trip to Botswana spoiled all future game drives for me. Never will I again witness so many animals and such beauty

. We found a nice little butcher shop in Cradock - nice meat and biltong - filled our freezers to take home. Can't remember the name but the young man behind the counter was dressed like a hotel chef. If you see a huge turning wheel with hundrerds of pieces of biltong hanging from it and huge fans, you know you are in the right place. If I recall there's only 2 in town so it cannot be too difficult

Sondela is one of our favourites ... spent a week there in the beginning of January ... say "Howzit" to Daisy

See a lot of folks going to Pilanesberg. Camping there for the 1st time this coming weekend. We will be camping at Manyane, see every one else is camping at Bakgatla. Which one is better (want to camp on grass, not mud; secluded not close to big swimming pool and children)

We are going to Berakha for the weekend. Dozing under the stars and a little bit of off-roading is just what the doctor ordered.

Especially since we did not to go to Moz in December.

Nice and chilled weekend at the Impala Bush Lodge. Nice ablutions, pool - great service from Hendry. 120km from Joburg in the new Dinokeng Big 5 reserve.

Hey, i am certainly going to try Dube out sometime. Looks really nice and has alot for the kids to do as well.
BTW just bought myself a Challenger Wilderness Bushbaby setup, so over the tent setup and nonesense that goes along with it.
