Below the cost as per their webpage: http://www.tshwane.gov.za/Services/N...e-Reserve.aspx

Will check as we are planning to go cycling there this afternoon.

Hope there are good rains by Friday - the place is cheese and chalk depending on the rains...

They offer horse riding, cycling there is superb (take your own or can hire), hiking and they have great "piekniek" facilities.

R25 per person, activities include 4x4 trail (R75 per vehicle), hiking trail and a horse trail. They also offer guided tours, picnic facilities and hiring of mountain bikes. Contact number is 012-440-8316 or 012-341-5204. I've been through the 4x4 trail a number of times now, nice track where you won't harm your vehicle. I can't comment on the other activities other than to say its quite a popular place so if you are going through, go early.

If you mean only one vehicle, then yes. But not alone as in without a navigator or someone to guide you at least. Be aware that they charge a steep recovery fee, should the need arise.

If it didn't rain you will be ok, nothing hectic, and you will have a great time, however if it did... maybe rather check with the forum guys to join in.

IMHO, only coz i don't smack rocks, if you are driving towards point 18, on the map, and and you don't like rocks, turn around unless you don't mind doing 100m of rocky section.
    me i dont personally.
i like the gooey stuff and we should be off to spider valley this weekend.....
