Bastards! Was planning a trip with the family on Sunday in fact. Maybe leave the wife and kids behind and take the 9mm, Syler (cross German Shepard/Husky) and mother-in-law with instead!

This is not the owners problem but a police matter.

Great news. Erasmia Police Station acted on information and apprehended 4 suspects during a raid last night in Atteridgeville.
The Police are busy building a case against the these criminals and anyone with more information or being able to identify the robbers, please get in touch with George. You will be able to bet his contact details on www.hennops.co.za
The stronger the case the longer they will be behind bars and Hennops will be safe again as it should be.
As a precautionary measure guards are patrolling the trail as well as the picnic area.

    Goeie dag.
Dit voorval was in verlede week. Die persone bly in Harties. Hulle het gaan piekniek hou so teen 08:45 daar aangekom. Groete

    Can this work?

I just told my Boerie that he is coming with the next time we do Hennops. And I also told him that there are some bad boys that need to be put in place. I mean, he also likes adventure.

We should all take our dogs with. We just need to take some extra meat with, a sheep or two though.

    This was his reaction.

I was there on Saturday morning. Hopefully this issue has been sorted out as it is a fantastic trail, especially if you do the steep hill climp next to the "seekoeigat"

Hi there guys , my wife and i went there for a day and we were held at gun point and was robbed.

The oweners will not do anything to help you as they need any income to keep that place open.

I will be willing to put a stop to the crime that happens there.

Its 4/5 guys that are robbing the people at gun point on the trail and they rob you between the picnic spot and after the last water hole.

    Default Wees realisties

    Mnre en Dmes

Wees realisties.

Folks, be careful about getting a group together. It becomes a mob and general competence descends to the level of the most useless grootbek, in most cases. Not saying any of you are like that, but an op such as suggested will likely attract a grootbekPlus, control is necc, the thugs have more rights than the righteousMaybe 3 or 4 competent people (who know/trust ech other) could set up a plan to respond and track. They could set up backup to block if the escape route was via one of the other sites. I don't know the geography of Hennops, but I think there may be some people with the kind of experience to set up the opI'm also wary of dogs dont like attack dogs, except as home defence and warning. also, vets are expensive. Tracking dog, yes. Could be invaluable, even after the incidentThe best bet may be to put a dog on the trail, even after the incident. The handler and companions can be armed, and ideally call the SAPS after they have found the hiding place/home of the baddies

Did nobody have enough time to shoot back?
Is it normal to allow strangers to walk up to you in the bush without being suspicious and covering them with your own firearm?
