IFS is like a swambo, soft, sexy and expensive!

Apparently I need to make the airplane noises like mommy does when I try to spoon feed you the info..

Johannes, sorry, went a bit large on Saturday evening & only got home at 09:20 this morning, whereapon I went for a nap.
But, having been there 2 weeks ago, I found the hardest part of De Wildt is trying to steer while yawning...

So bottom line is that the Fortuner was better than the ML & the other soft roaders (Toureg, Hummer etc.). Ke?

Glad to see the Q7 can take on a trail, hats off to the driver, it takes guts to take a vehicle like that on a trail...

Now, back to the challenge, which obstacles were passed to make the scores tie

Manny, you must have had a lot to drink. your last outing was only a week ago. Remember, the 7th.

PS - neither the ML nor the Fortuner came out tops. It was the Q7 that kicked some arses. Now I'm going into hiding!!!!
Unfortunately my Touareg is still at the panelbeaters, but the Q7 coming out tops, gives me a fair idea how the Treg would have done. It's a very simialar vehicle, but more off-road capable.

! As I said a few times before - the Touareg is VERY underestimated!

The Q7 won and they call a Touareg a soft offroader. Pffffft

I haven't heard all the excuses yet!

So similar that the doors are interchangeable. But methinks the problem with the Fortuner was the driver.
Because I've plodded up Gert se Klip in the rain - no hassles...

Does the Q7 have any difflocks and air suspension? Or was it open diffs with traction control and normal suspension?

The Q7 is 100% standard, open diffs with normal coil springs, std traction control. The only difference was a set of Treg mags with MTR tyres.
