Job done, thank you. Lets save Jelo from putting on to much weight, and lock this thread. Besides, we already got about ten of them now.

Safari Re: Safari bakkie by gekoop

I think the H260 is somewhat overkill anyway. H233B is strong enough already. I don't see many Aussie Patrols breaking them out on the trails. Distinction of course if the vehicle is needing to carry...

Re: LED Light Bar Covers In Cape Town

I think a lot of people are actually realizing that it's a looks thing, and that the practicality of it is not what it's made out to be. If you are cheapskate, and not paying +10k for a "chinese...

Many years ago, I took some movie editing equipment up to Askham with a 1400 Nissan bakkie. The little 155/65/14s were deflated to 2 bar from the normal loaded 2.4bar I normally ran. The equipment is...

And as soon as you have a bit of play on those brackets, they fatigue very quickly. In fact, the fatigue also causes them to rust off fairly fast as well.

  29. Re: Moving to Mud-Terrains? What should I be aware of?

I see a few different versions of sidewall for the Renegade. I would like something at least as aggressive as the KL, with the Trepador being the ultimate>:D. Loved being able to shove that sidewall...

  32. Re: Moving to Mud-Terrains? What should I be aware of?

Wow, they are not cheap R4248 a tyre. Last I checked for my Sani, the KL71s would have been R3800. But now I see they don't list my size anymore. Only go up to 33's.

  34. Re: Moving to Mud-Terrains? What should I be aware of?

It's the PT thats the problem, and that time you need it, and they are laying in your garage 300km away. Now you are stuffed/stuck.

  35. Re: Moving to Mud-Terrains? What should I be aware of?

So true about the "ready to go anywhere". It just gives you that little more confidence to just bash it in anywhere, and the tyres aren't an issue. I got myself an auto locker imported in 2007...
