    Re: Defender 110-Terrafirma Shocks

Why don't you try ProComps? I run them in my D1 5-door and I am very happy with them. Price also doesn't break the bank.

If TF shocks are anything like their coils I'd rather stay far away from...
  2. Discovery 1 Re: Looking for a guide to chop a D1 chassis to 90 inches

As ek vir jou so vinnig kan wys wat ek by Burnco gesien het. Ek hoop my crude prentjie maak sin. Gesels gerus met oom Hein of Dino rondom dit want dit is iets wat hulle al gedoen het. Dis die skets...

Wow, that is an interesting read!!! Thank you for that, now I know something that I didn't know yesterday. As the saying that I try to live by goes, learn something new everyday!

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

I really had a good laugh at the post about changing the 7 to a 5 seater just because you changed from a airbag to coils at the rear. My D2 facelift went through roadworthy with coils without even a...
  5. Discovery 1 Re: HELP WHAT ARE THESE! Complete rebuild of Disco 1.

So what have you got planned?

    Stretching the wheelbase?
    Disco 2 differentials?
    Body lift?
    Suspension?
    LS 3 engine conversion?

In the world of D1 mods you'll have to fork out a very, VERY...

Re: Disco 3 V8 at We buy cars

Only other vehicle I would take over that one is a D4 V8.

Bought two Landies from Webuycars. If you get caught buying a lemon, don't blame them as you are not forced to pay for it or sign any...

If I can throw a suggestion your way. Lock the doors from the inside while sitting in the driver seat. Wait a few minutes then unlock by pulling up the lock. Open the driver side door, close it and...

    3 Tamiya Wrangler YJ's

So I eventually painted the last one of the 3 YJ's that I have build. Yes, the Tamiya CC-01 chassis is not the greatest but these probably won't see any action like 95% of my collection in anyway....

Had the chance to actually take her out today. Went to fetch our foster pup from the vet so almost 30km that I could spend behind the wheel of my beloved Siouxsie.

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

Checked wheel bearings and tightened them up. Rotated the wheels, spare included in rotation.

Now for a plan to get the rear trackrod out so that I can do the radius arms.

Re: Range Rover Classic vs Discovery 2

If you can find a "ouma grootjie" I'd take that. RRC is a beautiful and very capable vehicle.

You have to go full crazy with a D2 to overcome the huge overhang at the rear.

    Rather look for a...
