    FR told me 80kg - moving.
    I used the original Suzuki holes for the old roof bars - we did not drill any new. I wonder if this is why I have not had any hassles?

    Sam - Have not seen many reports of flowers in that area although Springbok had about 40mm of rain the past month which was only exceeded by Nieuwoudtville 62mm and Kamieskroon 44mm.

    Had my Frontrunners for years. No hassles. Great spacesaver. Use them on the patio at home when we are not camping.

    I am frequently in Kgalagadi - corrugations! And with an old style Frontrunner Cheetah rack and a 2011 Jimny we have had no problems. Have carried up to 80kg and our regular load is around 70kg....

    With a 65kg RTT and some of the worst corrugations I have not had any problems.
    Separately have carried 2 jerries on the rack.

    I have an old style Frontrunner - 2011 Jimny - OME suspension....

    I don't think that is a good idea. Plenty of vibration on the rack. I have Flexopowers and would not mount them there. If I recall they are not waterproof.
