    Re: Buying land in Mozambique

    Sorry, just saw this now.

It's about 22 k's outside of Mocuba on the road to Mugeba on the left hand side heading north. I was growing maize and soya, but I have shut down all operations there....

Re: Best toast making device for camping

The problem is you have to work at it, something that most on this forum is not happy to do.

As with most basic things, you get out what you put in. There's no such thing as a camping toaster that...
  5. Re: Toyota 70 series LC Winch overwound or underwound !

All vehicle winches should be wound so that the cable comes off the bottom of the spool. If yours was winding off the top it was installed incorrectly.

Re: DIY Mini camping caravan build

Damn, that's bad luck. Are you planning to shim the base/floor up by 15mm on the right hand rear corner? That's quite a gap, but a lot easier than trying to straighten out all the steel of the...

Re: DIY Mini camping caravan build

Any 90% joint needs a fillet to round the corner off, thickened epoxy does this perfectly, otherwise the cloth won't bend to the corner.

I was thinking more along the lines of epoxying in a few strips of fiberglass cloth.

Re: DIY Mini camping caravan build

Hi Anton, just a thought. Would it be worth running a strip of fiberglass along the seams in the floor to eradicate dust inside the caravan?

    Re: Buying land in Mozambique

All land is owned by the state. You cannot own land in Moz, all you get is a 95 year concession on the land which is transferable to your children should you die. However there is a clause that...

    Re: Hi all

I haven't heard of any issues, but it scares me enough that I remove mine.
Leaving it on the roof also leaves it open to affirmative shopping.

The proof that the north is a terrible place to visit is that there are only a few vehicles cruising around, must be a ### place.

  24. Re: Discover EV27A Traction Dry Cell battery and PSD008 charger

If it needs a big charge, I'd go with Std/fast.
  25. Re: Discover EV27A Traction Dry Cell battery and PSD008 charger

John, if your battery is sitting at anything above 12.6 V without any charge going through it (at rest), all you need is a "float charge" just to keep it there. In your case STD/Slow
  26. Re: WRND connecting via National Luna portable power pack

You won't be sorry, I'm extremely happy with my WRND set-up. It remains completely portable simply because I need to remove it from the Jeep when not in use because of space issues
  27. Re: WRND connecting via National Luna portable power pack

I have connected from the WRND directly to the aux battery terminals, that way you still have the grey plug as a power point to run other stuff.

  35. Re: Kruger South - Skukuza and Croc Bridge (mid July)
