Re: Hi guys. New member here.

We left Savuti camp at 08h30 and we arrived in Maun at 14h30 on the 31/07/2018. With only one stop at a broken down vehicle.

Re: RFI : Road from Mababe to Dijara

First turn off to your left after the steel bridge, maybe 2km, which is not operational anymore, there is a new concrete bridge on the left of the steel bridge.

Re: Kgalagadi Botswana safety for two

It is difficult to tell someone what to do.
A roar of a lion close by can quickly turn you into a pasta lover.
What I agree with is the parking of your vehicle very close by with the doors...

Re: RFI : Road from Mababe to Dijara

I've traveled the road on the 01/08/2018.
It is actually confusing to call the road Mababe to Dijara. It is just before Mababe from Maun.
We found that the danger road-marker was lying down on its...

  13. Re: CKGR to Panhandle - where to stock/fuel up

If you want to go into the Panhandle it do not make sense to go back 156 km to Ghanzi. I would fill up at Sehithwa +- 110 km from Tsau gate in the direction of the Panhandle.
  14. Re: Mpayathulwa and Mabuasehube now privatised

Mabua is still relatively cheap compare to Mana Pools $230 and $172 per campsite per night.
+This is special, open camping. If you prefer cheaper then Kalahari and Kruger is an option.

    Hi Jeepers

i Would take as much as possible from home and then just stock up at Kang if needed. There is no need to go to Ghanzi as the cutline route is about 200 km shorter. It is an easy route.
