    I'm using acoustic carpet, it's available from any of the upholstery suppliers and it's not very expensive. About R25 a metre.

    For glue contact adhesive works best. I prefer to buy the spray can...

    I'm in the same situation with the scrapsun. Flushed the radiator and it immediately started leaking. The quotes I got were between 7 and 9 thousand for a recore.
