    Right now SOC is full and house is geared for basic needs as far as power is concerned, gas stove and geyser, low watts lights etc. Just 3 fridge / freezers and odd electronic items needing 220v

    OK I am now practically off grid, although system can revert to local grid when necessary.

    Am in fact now using borehole to irrigate garden, compliments of the sun and inverter.

    2x 3,5 was what i was prepared to spend for a start, but i do not really use two aircons in house. Perhaps one in lounge for an hour or so in evening. And in bedroom for an hour or so if necessary.
