    Re: Drinking vessels

I'm a Stanley guy, I got a Atlasware as a gift a while ago and didn't like it.

I have a 1l classic Stanley as well as a 2l, then I have a one handed travel mug the one with the trigger and also...

    Re: Land Cruiser 300 - 3.3L V6 diesel

Is this on the TSA service schedules as well or only in the owners manual?

Maybe @JWR can chime in here, but as far as I have it, TSA is of the opinion that ATF is for life.
    Also check this...

If considering weight on the front of the vehicle and also budget of course, I'd rather oversize on the winch itself and then go for synthetic rope from the start, Super-12 weighs almost nothing...

    Re: Land Cruiser 300 - 3.3L V6 diesel

It's well documented that ATF is for life and never has to be replaced in Toyota's opinion, it's however similarly well documented that many users find this to be BS and found that replacing ATF as...

Did you ever replace the ATF after this happened and before trying again?
IMHO if ATF overheated once it is toast and should be replaced ASAP.

I presume here that the new vehicle is part of the remuneration package as in a car allowance rather than being part of a bonus package.

Fortuner Re: Longevity of 2.8 model

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts after a while on Hilux vs Fortuner on comfort, stability, road handling etc. especially also on gravel roads.
    Also, do you tow anything?

Yes but my first question is always, who wants to take their R2 mil plus vehicle off road and in to the bush? The majority of users will feel to sorry to really take this off road.

Why not simply put Victron in your caravan?

I have a Multiplus 12/1200, SmartSolar 100/20 and a BMV712 smart with a Blue Nova lithium battery in a Afrispoor Cheetah.

    Re: Land Cruiser 300 - 3.3L V6 diesel

If looking at Cruiser history prospective owners shouldn't bargain too much on 300 second hand prices or for that matter even 200 second hand prices for the next year or 3.

  16. Re: Powering water pressure pump during load shedding.

Thanks, as I said I got the R15k from a quick Google, no shopping around at all, I'm sure it can be cheaper. The first Google result gave me Jojo 4.5m stand for R14950.

    I'm also leaning towards...

  18. Powering water pressure pump during load shedding.

    Re: Land Cruiser 300 - 3.3L V6 diesel

It will be quite interesting to see whether we'll only get the 3.3 diesel in SA or also the 3.5 petrol since we got the 200 only in diesel for quite a few years now.

On the Victron check your local Current Automation, also look at www.livestainable.co.za remember to budget extra for fuses and cabling. Between those 2 I usually find the best Victron pricing.
