    we use a alva unit with our setup, when showers at camp is crappy and when we do remote camping. Works a charm, however you need to shield them well from the wind.

    had similar experience on the first gen Night breakers on my Isuzu. Replaced it with newer set and lasted +-5years and the ones in my Nav is going about 2 years in head lamps and spotties.

    I would also rather deal with 4x4 direct. As it is near impossible to get hold of him, unless you are a stalker or stay next to him.
