Car does look neat and in good condition.... BUT... R150K for a 16 year old car with 241 000kms.
I'm a Pajero fan... maybe out of touch a bit but...
Then again if you buy it it still has 250...
Don't know the vehicle but would say it's about R10k - R15k over priced, see if you can get a few grand knocked off. Check under it for any damage or bush marks, that should give you an indication if...
Those Gen 3 Pajeros are usually bulletproof but the one you're talking about needs to be inspected by someone who knows a thing or two. The gearbox problems could be an easy fix or an expensive one!...
Although I'm not 100% up to date with pricing of secondhand fridges I think the owner is being SUPER optimistic to start the pricing at 12k:o
Secondhand fridges are (were) more or less in line with...
Not sure if you''l find it on this site but it is informative for everything parts related. Just make sure you have navigated to the right vehicle.
...
It's my daily driver and I do too much driving. Costing me nearly R5k in diesel every month. Going to get a platkar for a while then get another Pajero later.
You want something like this. Not sure if this type is available here. Also I think all fit (strapped) on to a double stretcher so you're up off the ground for increased comfort and out the mud.

I have the 2005 3.2 GLX and it's on 335 000km. I still purrs along. But then I have done all the servicing myself and looked after it well and not abused it. It therefore doesn't have a service...
I have checked out a few places but the damn website is not so user friendly!... If anyone has any recommendations at Dinokeng.............
Thanks for all the replies... I will check them out during the course of the day. :)
Ok here goes....
Requirements:
Chalet or lodge type in bush setting
Budget around R600 - R750 /night (can be self catering or catered)
2-3 hours from Gauteng (preferably in Gauteng with this...
It would seem that my original opinion on EVs is dated. Maybe there is a sound reason to look at this. I still don't believe that it is practical for the average farmer...yet. Some have mentioned the...
Sean, I remember you saying you don't listen to the radio as you love the sound of your V8.... if you go electric you're going to have to have a recording of a V8 to play while driving;D;D;D
No argument from me on that!;D
Point I'm making is that if I was an SA farmer (or any farmer in Africa) I wouldn't consider an electric cruiser... maybe I'm wrong as I haven't farmed since 1995.
I think Norway and SA have little in common especially when it comes to electric vehicle use. The blackouts (sorry loadshedding) and electricity pricing may make the use of an electric landcruiser...
Think that's going to be a very small market. If it is only used on the mines and in Sandton. Not many power points out in the bush and farm use in SA with our power issue and pricing...............
If you can't find nearer to you then try Hexagon Bolt, Nut and Fasteners in Jules Street (Cleveland / Malvern). They usually have anything one would want.
P.s. the 011 615 xxxx telephone number...
Sorry can't help but I did google plastic air vents and viewed images... maybe you'll find something that could work
Internationally A quick search found this:

With that budget you're probably not going to get a Prado unless the seller is VERY desperate but then again he'd get more for any old Joe Soap. So realistically you're looking at Pajero / Disco I...
Try Ratel bumpers. I have one on my Pajero... I know looks are subjective but when I comes to function etc mine does what it says on the tin (at much less than the ARB)
Never had a Duster but have had several other French vehicles... seems I am a slow learner;D
But I have since been educated that it is not a French car at all and I have mentioned that I think the...
Looking at the picture again it looks like a mixture of 1 part Reliant Robin and 1 part Communist era panel van. ;D
Yes, French cars do have a rep and they deserve it from what I have experienced. The Duster does seem capable, seen them on the dirt roads here and there.
We agree, not for the OP purposes......
ou tannie's runabout
I think you might be missing the target buyer... but then again how old is the "ou tannie" and will she handle a full size SUV on the daily runaround...
;D::)
Actually if you want character and reliability then it's a Gen 3 LWB Pajero... reliabilty can't be beaten and those rounded front wheel arches scream Paris Dakar winner.
The fact that it's not a proper Renault is a good thing! I have seen that they are quite capable but never looked further due to my aversion for French cars.
Don't like the colour. But on the plus side punctures are a thing of the past... probably a smooth ride too. Should be no road tax as you're using the road, then again do you need pilot license? ...
I'd vote for the Jimny... small enough for a city vehicle and capable enough for the bush... light on juice.
Duster...Don't get me started of French vehicles...
Not sure if the current regs are the same as when I looked at importing my BMW when I returned from the UK about 14 years ago.
1. Clearance from the host country.
2. Homogenisation certificate...
Sorry can't agree with all those that say that it's tough luck and move one. Where does it stop then? You have dual battery system and it's stolen.... still tough luck?? You have brand new tyres and...
I think you'll realistically get about R3k for each. That seems to be the going price for good 3x3 canvas tents. Maybe because of the extras you could get another grand on top of that.
Lovely pic of a legless skink!;D
I think rear axle weight has little (not none) to with front end wash out on wet tar. Like I posted earlier I my experience was with KO1. Both Malcolm and I have obviously had bad / strange...
Malcolm, I have to agree with you regarding the road holding of the KO2 on your vehicle. It is simply unacceptable to have a tyre, ANY TYRE, behave in such a way.
I had the KO1 on previously and...
