  1. Re: Colt 3.0 V6 4 x 4 Gear change problem.

The Colt has a hydraulic clutch.

Like the brake system if there is air in the system it wont work properly.

I'd recommend to have the clutch system bled, maybe even flushed.

    Hope this helps?

Re: C28 From Swakopmund to Windhoek.

Did Swakop to Windhoek on 29 September in my Isuzu.

The road is doable, rather rough though with lots of corrugations between the pass and Windhoek, I was quite irritated later on.

    Defender TD5 aircon gas?

    Hi Landy Fans!

My 90 is making some noises from the A/C fan inside the cabin, I suspect the fan chewing on some cables or sound deadening carpet or so every now and then.

    I want to take apart...

Sounds like there's air in the system.

Try lifting the front wheels off the ground and turning the steering wheel from lock to lock a couple of times while the engine is running.

    Re: Starting issue

The issue sounds altitude related so I'd start with checking, cleaning or replacing MAP and/or MAF sensors.

Maybe even have a compression test done?

    Thanks for the input!

I have heard about the Isuzu's finicky oil specs for the gearboxes, glad you say the same. My dad's old KB260 needed normal 15W40 engine oil in the gearbox, anything else...

    3L DTeq KB6 4x4 Oil Change info

    Greetings!

    Here's a question for all service DIY'ers.

So... My Suzie's out of maintenance plan and I'm not too keen on going back to the agents.

Did some digging in the user manual and found...

    Defender Re: Defender 90

The only downside I'm experiencing when going into the bush with my 90 is the limited tank size of 60L.

Carrying around jerry cans is a drag :-\

    How do you do it?

Is your 2013 already the KB6 shape?

If so, go with a 265/70R17 or 265/75/R16. I find this size works very well and looks great!
