    Correct yes, they actually say you can do some of it with a 4x2. The chicken routes you should be able to do with a 4x2/Softroader.

    The rocky part you will need Low Range and good ground...

    Yes, you can definitely skip the rocky section. I stopped at the beginning of this part and walked a big part of it to check.

    Before I started I was actually advised not to do the rocky section...

    I agree with you comments.

    Mine is now on 40,000 km. I do 5 wheel rotation and believe I will at least get between 60 - 70 k out of the set.

    What would the best be in terms of battery size?

    I think 105Ah will just make it, but I would think 160Ah as a minimum would be better?
