Re: Pajero Sport and USB and Blue Tooth

I'm not sure on the message you are receiving mentioned in your point 1, but the pairing issue with the steering wheel controls etc. may be that your phone might not support concurrent bluetooth...

Re: A tribute to our Pajero

    Thanks for that Riaan.
This goes along with a thread I was going to start called "It's just a car".
I hear a lot of people say that but they clearly don't understand and probably never will. These...
  3. Re: KGalagadi Road conditions & Will my Venter survive Kgalagadi

I was there about 2 weeks ago. The road between Twee Rivieren and Nossob was not decent. It was a bit corrugated closer to Nossob. I can't comment on the road to Mata Mata but I heard they were...

    Sticky: Re: Mitsubishi Pics....

Our trip through the Kgalagadi was cut short due the lockdown but we did get to see Mabuasehube pan with water in it which was quite a sight.
Our mascot was also well represented in the park!

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

Luckily the Bilsteins can be adjusted but have to be sent back to Mikem suspesion in JHB to do so which is a bit inconvenient. Perhaps I should organise a road trip up there so they can fine tune...

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

I think that column issue may have developed on the road to Polentswa as there is now a weird metallic feel on higher speed corrugations, however the steering wheel physically shakes left and right...

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

    Hi all,

I just got back from a Kgalagadi trip:
    Twee Rivieren - Nossob.
Nossob - Polentswa, Polentswa - Nossob
    Nossob - Mabuasehube
    Mabua - Nossob
    Nossob - Twee Rivieren

    Previously I've...

    Re: 2008 3.2DiD Water Pump (4m41)

How does this look. Still seems ok in my books. It is inline the inner and outer as far as I could tell

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

Rather measure from the centre of the wheel to the arch. Then tyre size doesn't matter.
Mine is 565mm I think, but I should double check that. Hopefully I remember this evening

    Re: 2008 3.2DiD Water Pump (4m41)

After seeing this thread again I checked mine and it appears to be inline. However when my car is cold I get an occasional squeak. No tak tak noise.
At some point (probably a year ago) I removed the...

    Re: Pajero engine check light

First try see the fault code as the others said.
To me sounds like a boost issue if it's under aggressive throttle. Check the map sensor and tubing (I assume the non-common rail one should have a...

Mine also doesn't have an additional fan. Although I think that may have only been to help with the aircon

Ok that makes sense. Is your viscous fan working correctly? Mine makes a quite a noise and steals a fair amount of power from the car when it is engaged.

Yeah I'm hoping that it is not as hot as the gauge is claiming. Radiator full? Our Yaris had a waterpump changed at Toyota and they didn't bother to warm the car to the point where the thermostat...

  21. Re: 3.2 Triton/ PS 4 speed auto box- can one live with it?

The 4 speed is surprisingly smooth. Sometimes it feels a little hunty near the torque converter lockout but it certainly isn't fishing for gears.
Off road in low range you can select 1st or 2nd for...

As far as I know that is just a weight to try and help with possibly driveline vibration. It could also be to increase the unsprung mass but I'm not so sure about that one.
