    If it’s the 5.0SC then listen carefully for timing chain rattle, which if left unattended can become a very very expensive exercise, the first few years of the 5.0 has poor design on the chain...

    Asking for a friend, 3,6 Pentastar 2012 what engine oil to use and why, he does not want to use the dealer supplied oil, and tells me spec required is Chrysler MS-6395, which is the same spec...

    Yep, make sure the rubber bonnet seals are there and have not been misplaced or torn, because without a doubt that would allow a lot of engine bay heat right into the cabin air inlet..
