Re: CTek D to DC charger

Agree 100% with installing a battery protect. DO NOT rely on the battery protect circuit on your fridge - these are helpful, but does not always cut-out before your battery is running real low. A...

    Re: Volvo XC60: Review

We love Volvo even though we traded our XC70 for an Amarok after 240K.

Many times we just smiled at people when we were in Mozambique, Baviaanskloof etc. It was one of the most enjoyable, multi...

    Re: It is happening

Very interesting how this is developing.

Adding to the Axpert will be an infinisolar 5k (at this stage). From what i can gather it doesn't pay to feed back to the grid at this stage, so not really...

  19. Re: Using a DC powered PTC element to heat water (successfully)

Can confirm that 5m with 2x 150l geysers connected works like a charm.
Heatpump feeds first geyser and exit from 2nd one. Both have all the pressure release valves, so no issue there.

So for retrofitting 2x 150l tanks (geysers) do i go PTC or heatpump provided i have both panels and AXPERT 5000 Inverter?

    2 Questions:

    1. What brand of gas geyser are you using - I assume no mixers are used

    2. Fluffy, what size inverter would you need to run a 5.5kw heat pump, and what are the latest types?
