    Candle wax might work. I have used that successfully on camera bag zips.

    If you used booking.com then you should do the cancellation via them as well as far as I remember. They do not pass your card details on, but does the billing on behalf of the place you booked at.

    More expensive, but these are definitely worth every cent!

    Used mine on vehicles several times, kept a jetski running in the surf while diagnosing issues, charges a cell phone etc!
