    Auto is fine. And the highest setting (can't remember off-hand) is the safest and should be a good indication if you are doing proper battery management.

    Or just gear down, as the need arises. That is what that lever is there for - or in the OP's case, those paddles (behind the steering wheel ;D)

    Good torque wrenches are very expensive - but worth while. And even they don't remain accurate.

    Just go to the Tentco (showroom) in Edenvale, they can supply 90% of you camping requirements. Open on Saturday mornings. Some good discounts on this Friday. (or Camp and Climb)
