    Re: 1980 Isuzu C190

Thys, pa het in 1979 (op aanbeveling van my oom wat die dokter op Villiersdorp was) by Ferrandis sy V8 Ranchero op 'n Chev LUV ingeruil - en ek was baie moerig daaroor. Moedswillig ook - soos net 'n...
  3. Re: Cost of owning a 4x4 that cost less than R40K

There's a plethora of post on the subject of owning, running and/or maintaining an older vehicle on the forum, so I thought I'll keep adding the cost of whatever I spend on the car to the original...

    Re: High Mileage Kb300 D-Teq

That bakkie looks very neat and well looked after. With a full service history and the seller open to offers, I'd go for it.

Re: 300Tdi Oil Pressure light flickering

Check whether the oil light takes longer than usual to go out when starting up - especially from cold.

This might be something small like the sensor or maybe the oil itself, but it could also be...

  15. Cost of owning a 4x4 that cost less than R40K

Following on to the "Is it possible to buy a usable 4x4 with a R40k budget?" thread and having purchased such a vehicle at the beginning of February, I thought I'll start a thread on the actual...
  16. Re: Is it possible to buy a usable 4x4 with a R40k budget?

The way I see it is this:

Tires have to be replaced from time to time - regardless the age/cost/value of the vehicle they are on.
Same goes for all "consumable"/wear & tear items on a vehicle....
  17. Re: Is it possible to buy a usable 4x4 with a R40k budget?

    345 000km's when bought, now standing at 353 000.

Re: Has the Wrangler bubble burst?

    Re: Corrugated gravel tire pressure
