    Where can I get this?

    Hi all, a friend has a 91 patrol and is looking for this part that goes onto the diff (to lock and unlock it). It locks but doesnt unlock..!?

    Does anyone know where it can be purchased?

    Go for the 2.8tdi aka 4m40

    Ive had both the 3.0 and the 2.8 and although I enjoyed more power from the V6 I respected the durability and longevity of the Diesel.

    Good Oil Pressure Gauge

    Hi Guys.

    So I decided to put an oil pressure gauge in the Colt, I just dont trust my oil pump..

    Are the ones you buy at Midas reliable?

    Im looking at a round one, can anyone recommend :)?

    I know of the air bleeding procedure, not a fan of as its temporary and puts extra load on the engine. I guess just going to overfill the oil, seems to fix the issue.

    Eish thanks! Could be shocks... the guys that fitted the clutch and brakes last ( SAC ) did a shocking job, they fitted the "new" suspension iirc.

    TD04 turbos like ones the 4m40 uses, intercooler, piping, ems, fuel pump, injectors and custom intake and exhaust manifolds. What do you recon +/- 30K? Then ofcourse you can only run about .5 bar...

    That would be insane! Stock 220KW+ and god knows how much torque. Maybe in the future :) It would cost around the same as 1uz swap. the engin e alone is about 40-50k and the rest of the little parts...

    Got Thor back, runs like a dream. Still a ticking but only when the engine is warm and its a very quiet tick tick tick tick.

    Done 500km so far, going to get the heads re-torqued in...

    Yeah I know of the 6g72tt but thats not mounted the same way our engines are. I have a feeling it would be more of a headache making that fit than fitting two turbos to our SOHC engines
