Re: SAC “very peri “ upgrade mods

Problems will probably start after the "Peri Peri" upgrade... I'd leave it as it is, way powerful enough.

If you really want to go faster I'd get the V6. Will be cheaper to run than fixing a D4D.

Re: Does a Kuga count as a 4x4??

The answer to the OP is simple. Of course it is a 4x4. Power to all 4 wheels is the definition.

Apply this scenario... my vehicle has a load bed of 3/4 ton. Is it a truck? Yes it is. It is not a...

    Re: Bloukrans Pass

Drove it today as well. Wow. What awesome scenery. Watch out for Boomslange, baboons and buck along the way. Can't believe it's not used. Must be one if the most scenic drives I've taken.

Freelander II Re: Petrol into a Diesel Freelander II

Engine was warm enough to flash the diesel. But as soon as the engine cooled, there wasn't enough to fire.

It's about the ratio. If it's enough to flash, you can drive for many Km and this is...

....an overseas holiday and a semi rigid.

They are mad. Silly season continues into January. Who is meant to pay that. Doubt if the garage owner will cough up or his insurance.

Freelander II Re: Petrol into a Diesel Freelander II

Drain tank and replace filter and fill with diesel, bleed and let return line run into a separate container. Start and drive. You'll be fine.

A bit of a mistake there from the attendant and the...

    Re: Question re: pre-paid meters

You get prepaid devices that plug in an send a signal via EOP to a controller that can shut off your current. If it has been shut off at the box, your house has no power so signal cant go through....
  11. Sometimes, the fix is cheaper than you think.

Ok. So rewind to 23rd December. Filling up, or topping up to leave for holiday. Only needed a few litres because I fill up with bio diesel, and had filled up a few days before. Now, I had lost the...

    Re: Question re: pre-paid meters

You should be able to plug it into any power outlet that is live,(neighbour) then recharge and it will send a signal to the box to open your supply.

Is it not possible to use an A Frame? It's a long trip with a trailer you don't do the maintenance on if it is a hire trailer.

Re: "Crawl Mode" when stuck in sand

Guy in the first video is an idoit as well as the crawl method is a load of nonsense.

When you are on sand you deflate to .8 bar. Finish and klaar.

Funny he never showed the pull out method or...
  17. Re: 2004 Izuzu KB 320 V6 Double Cab 4 X 2 with diff lock. Looking for rear diff

I would get it fixed. You now spend money getting a 2nd hand one and a few Km down the road you sit with the same problem.

Girl I know had the same issue with her car. Turned out to be a fuse that was blown. Ask the young lady if she is able to check that, also if her brake lights are working.
