  1. Re: Anyone who wants to share a helicopter flight in Maun?

    Thanks for the information.
I'll talk to the others and if they're interested I'll revert.
I'll also have to see if our dates work out, so let's see.
    It would be great.
  2. Re: Anyone who wants to share a helicopter flight in Maun?

    We may be interested.
What is the cost and how many seats are available?

Re: Khubu island to Nxai pan

All should be dry end of September?
We're planning to go straight up to the junction with the A3 close to Nata.
Just concerned with the 'deep sand bits' as we are towing a van.

    You're right.
On all our trips over the 12 years that we've had the Xcape, traversing some treacherous roads and tracks, we've not broken anything.

I use rubber floor mats and hang them down from brackets fixed into the existing mounting holes.
You can get oversized mud flaps from truck spares outlets.

When someone requests a price on a device why is the price not simply posted - why is it always PM'ed?

They are right next to each other - 10m apart, separated by the ablution building.
The one on the 'road' side is fairly level and sort-of OK to get into.
The one at the back is on a slope.

    Re: Charging AA, AAA batteries.

It's not a very difficult job.
Alternatively you could courier your old battery packs to them and they will do the exchange for you. They do not charge for the repacking of the casings.

I bought the batteries and had them sent to me via PostNet.
I opened the casings (cracked the seam weld) and installed the replacement batteries.
Massive difference - drill works like new again.

    - Place in a warm oven (50C) for some hours
