    Re: Rooftop Tent advice

    Many possibilities.

Easiest fitment and tent cost will be a normal "fold-style" (Eezi-awn, echo, tentco)mounted on crossbars on your existing rails. These tents are more available 2cnd hand and...

Re: New Hilux Mods , What to do?

I read somewhere that the EGR system is a very important factor in getting your engine temps to operational levels, it uses the exhaust gasses to circulate through the block.

Re: New Hilux Mods , What to do?

Do it! No negative effects (on performance, greenies my differ) turbo just spools quicker and sounds a tiny bit nicer. Its not a replacement exhaust, but it does the job until such a time.

    CAT can...

Re: New Hilux Mods , What to do?

    My Opinion on the above

    1. The new shape hilux (2016+) does not experience the same number of thefts as the D4D shape, so I would suggest going the tracker/similar route for insurance purposes

They also asked me for pictures of the rack I want to use. I have a DIY rack and didn't bother sending the pictures just to hear that they will not supply it. Not a great attitude from their side.

    Re: 7.5x16

Figure of speech, what I meant with holds air is that it should at least be acceptable condition for a farm trailer. Current tires also have tubes in them

If anybody has 7.5 x 16 tires for sale in Pretoria that would be great!

Not looking to buy new as it is for a farm trailer. As long as it holds air it will be sufficient

    Thanks

Apologies, was referring to @grips 's post with the fridges against the cab of the bakkie. Also a big fan of NL, but that remote of the SM makes life easier and opens up some fitment locations

Quick question, and not to highjack the thread,

how do you go about setting the Fridge temps on such an arrangement?
