    Or it could be the cam..........they do tend to eat cams if run on newer oils without zinc additives.

    indeed, you'd need to get an adapter for the Weber to the cyclonic filter

    But if I was Wayne I'd SERIOUSLY look at an EFI system off the D1.

    - turbo oil seals defective
    - crank case release valve defective

    those rubber turbo pipes ALWAYS split if they use the thin clamps

    - get silicon reinforced turbo hoses
    - use a wide irrigation clamp

    That would be an indirect injection engine with pre-combustion chambers, and those are the only weak points. The I-C was a factory fit later, and allowed 75kW.

    Engine is a DAIHATSU DL-52 Turbo...

    I'd rather use the Moamba road or else the bypass that you mention. Going through Maputo will always be a nightmare, ESPECIALLY at that bloody soccer stadium.

    Can't say this is correct, a diff should handle plenty of DIFFerences in rotation speeds, 2mm is NOT an issue.

    Agreed. That's why I said a nice 4.6 or stroked 5.0 Rover v8 that bolts straight on and uses a standard Bosch Motronics ECU.

    1 day job, 2 on the outside. 170kW, 400Nm stock. Torque peak @ 2500rpm.
