Re: Testing 2nd hand deep cycle battery

Yes will have to see what this battery does. My existing battery is keeping charge without load but with load (5A continuous) only 2hrs...this one with open circuit after 6hrs30 still at 12.38V. I...

Re: Testing 2nd hand deep cycle battery

Bit of feedback, I've not ran the battery dead but rather stopped at about 50% (it is difficult to say 50% because during on-load cycle the battery is 12.3V and when idling at 12.45V). So after about...

Re: Testing 2nd hand deep cycle battery

Testing 2nd hand deep cycle battery

So I came across a barely used 100Ah Delco deep cycle battery. How would you test this battery? At this moment I've hooked it up to my Victron charger (last night) to charge through the night and...

    Re: Your Lockdown Projects

  17. Re: Dual battery system and a good inverter for 2020 Hilux

I'm not an expert but from what I've read the location of your second/aux battery is important. Lithium batteries does not like extreme temperatures, i.e. in the engine bay it might not be a good...

Re: AL-KO Steadies on a Bush Lapa

Fitted mine before December's 2 week camp and it works great. Little effort for great impact. Fitted mine on the outer side and they fold (just) in towards the A-frame.
