    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

    You can camp at Kasabushi. We did it in Oct. 2017. Excellent conditions and an incredible boat ride on Kafue.

    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

    Hi Tron,

    I do share the same opinion as Stan. You would take at least 4hrs to get to the plains, and another 4 to get back, considering you stay at Mapunga Camp (check Laevelder trip report...

    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

    As far as I know independent camping in Luambe is no longer allowed. The nearest you can camp will be at Kanunshya CCs. (northern) or Kalovia Cs (southern border).

    Re: Epic Zambia: 2019 Trip

    Hi Tron,

    Although we do not tow, I think that you would be able to do it all the way from Zikomo to Chifunda. As WW has pointed out, the pontoon may be an issue. The traverse through NLNP, also,...

    That is it Tony! The former will excuse the latter and vice-versa. Shame! Resources and resources... and at what price? ;

    Wilderness areas are definitely doomed for future generations.

    Certainly not good news.

    Has not been these way for a long time?, i.e., only a minority of Selous was opened to the "photographic safari industry", being the vast majority being explored by the...
