    Thanks for the advice getack, I use to put on the sealer and then first go tighten it up as far as it would go, and only then start the SJ for the heat to cure the stuff. Not the way you described. ...

    Yes superduper, Gun Gum is almost the same as the Fire Gum stuff. Gun Gum is used to plug holes in an exhaust, whereas Firegum is used to seal joints.
