Re: Axpert 4kW 5kVA special deal

    "Axpert" type

Some of them are really shoddy.

The one manufactured by Voltronic is the best I've seen. Also branded Rectron and Mecer locally.

The one sold by ACDC makes use of really...

Re: Help Me Inteperate my 2.4 GD6 Dyno Results

Quite simple to convert from power at the wheel to power at the flywheel you just times the value of the power at the wheel with phi

    so P(at the flywheel) = P(at the wheels) x 3.14285714286

    Re: Water tank level control

Another way to do it is to use a float valve at the tank. When it's full then the floats shuts the valve.

The you use a pressure switch with a delay on at the pump

Re: Taking our SOHO off grid

I have only read the last page

3 phase will only make sense if you have 3 phase loads

3 phase installation for 1 phase loads would not be optimal

    Re: Gen4 Alternator output

I would expect that you should see 14.2 V right after start-up, then as the battery takes charge it will drop to 13.6 V
The standing battery at in a charged state should measure at about 12.6 V
