Unless there is a price or supply problem, go OEM.
  2. Re: How long will we be able to keep the internal combustion engine running?

Like it or not - the internal combustion engine is all but dead.

Even here in Africa. It is going to take time, but trust me, a lot less time than people think.

We may have to juggle a few...
  3. Re: How long will we be able to keep the internal combustion engine running?

Without a doubt I would rather be in a sidewalk cafe on the Champs Elysee quaffing coffee and chomping crepes than driving an EV Panzer.

    Re: "Affordable" foldable solar panels

I have lots of respect for a commercial supplier prepared to offer and promote his stuff on a forum like this.

For sure if it is crap you are gonna get grilled.

I have no real experience on it,...

  6. Re: Sunsync or Victron - Should I replace my Victron system

There are some very real advantages to upgrading the Victron system.

    Lets think now.

mmm Well if it doesn't look like a rats nest now, it will when you are finished with the Upgrade. This...

    Re: Dual Battery Questions

    Quite simply NO

It will take more energy to keep the -15 at -15 than the -10 at -10

Why, because the insulation of the freezer isn't perfect.

If it was perfect you would require NO ENERGY...

Re: Hijacking of vehicles in Kosi Bay Area.

Anywhere North of Richards Bay to Kosi, if you are in the dunes, wetlands, never be on your own on the backroads.

Don't go exploring little beach tracks around Mapelane etc.

Re: Talk to me about solar for house.

Fantastic. And here is what gets me. R250K is a cheap second hand second/third car.

And people will buy that, even though they don't need it, and it will die and cost money.

    Are they nuts - a...

Thanks, I have never seen a Melktert recipe like this. It is totally unique.

I think any recipe that uses Maizena is not original Afrikaner.

In SA we get Carp which are pap suckers, as you go deeper into Africa you get Tarp. It's a kind of Tiger Carp that bites.
