    I might even have parts of the original foam filters that fitted around each set of DCOE's. Backing plate and mesh.

    The original car the head and came came out of was a Ford Anglia pre X-flow motor.
    The car even had original thin cylinder dampers working through a lever.
    This was even before MacPherson struts...

    I did the same with my two D2's. Silver one had grey interior. Beige one had brown.
    Also not difficult but a lot of work.

    Difference in speed shown is around 5%. Difference in fuel consumption is around 15%
    115km/h shown vs 120 km/h actual.
    Distance went from say 1150 km to 1000km for full tanks. (125 l total)

    I run the Defender ration in my TD5 but not the V8.
    Both on 32" (265/75x16) tires. The TD5 runs better but also became heavier on fuel than on standard ratios.
    I'm scared to do this on the V8 due...

    Might work but they do not include the steering wheel control wiring. I will post a photo of the factory fitted Alpine wiring. It includes a box plus more wires for steering wheel buttons.

    Yes. Done with a 3D printer. PETG was used. Quite a nice product to print with and strong.
    I'm also going to make a set in light brown as my other Disco has the brown interior.

    I made a new seat lever for the 3rd row seat on my Disco 2. This is the prototype to check fit.
    Next one would be refined more and smooth.

    It is usually dust insid ethe fan that does this on the bushes the shafts run in.
    I stripped mine on the D2. There were planty of dust...

    I got Koni's for my Silver D2.
    They were adjustable on rebound. Push the shock fully in and twist.
    Dont know if the current ones are like that.

    Try LP4A in Midrand.
    Should be around R2500 for both.
    British is also about the same price.
