    Pressurize and check visually for a leak. If the pressure DOESN'T drop, but you get coolant loss, could be the cap or radiator 'mouth'....(not sure of Defender setup)

    Most go bigger to gain some ground clearance and raise the diff a little higher off the ground. An added benefit is bigger tyres tend to give a smoother ride.
