    From what I can see, tyres to hard (1.6 to 1.8 would be better), and inexperience, very bad throttle control which will allow wheel spin even with the e-diff.

    On The Hekpoort side you cant use the R24 at Maanhaarrand as you will get turned around if you don't have permits and a valid reason. You will need to use the R465, and/or R99 from/to Hekpoort

    White smoke when idling or smoke whilst driving.

    Black smoke under acceleration is normally caused by a split turbo pipe and/or over fueling.

    Check the sponge filter in the top of the left fender. Mine got so clogged it was not letting air in.

    The only reason to reset is when you bottom out on an obstacle and the suspension automatically extends to clear it.

    Suspension arm/connecting rod got damaged.

    This was at Moegatle, whilst doing obstacles most D3/4 owners would probably never attempt.

    We were using electronic lifts, which needed to be reset after obstacles. to do this you need relatively level ground, set the height to road mode and then to off road height again (extended height)...

    Correct.

    I have an electronic lift which does the same thing, and never broken any air bags or damaged any mechanical parts.

    Sensors are not an issue, it is normally mechanical breakdowns, same as other makes.

    Surely if your straps keep breaking there is a reason i.e rating or old and worn out?

    I would not use a damaged strap or one with a knot in it, too dangerous.
