I agree with Douglash on the ZF recommendation.

Waiting in anticipation for my E-clutch to go, adaption values are waaaay past what they should be. ZF checks the adaption values before doing an...

Re: Independent trailer suspension DIY question

A bit off topic but there was another idea I briefly flirted with and promptly forgot about, now that the anti roll / sway bar is mentioned, it springs to mind again.

    Even on hi-tech automotive...

Also looked at it when I re-build the sprite. Came to the same conclusions as Heinz and Henris.

Even looked at air like the Kimberly Kruisers have. Eventually settled on Load sharing Leaf spring...

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

Some guys get 7, most of us probably not. I'm with Henkus on this one. 5 km/l is my vacation budget. Saw 7 twice in 180 000 km.

Discovery 4 Re: What is it with tappet covers?

Estee, its probably a TDV type engine, thus designed by the mechanics in hell ;D

    In heaven:

    Your cook is Italian.

    Your mechanic is German.

Re: 2019 to get a Discovery 3 V8 se or not

Ok maybe a bit long winded but here's my observations:

2005 D3 V8, HSE, got it in late 2012, it had just over 100 000 km on. Now its got 250 000 on, so pretty much on par with the one the OP is...
