    Your entry permit to Kgalighadi states that tyres must be deflated to 1.6 bar. At the fuel pump are two tyre gauges and lots of space to work.

    One of the rules of the Kgalighadi. I go down to 1.4.

    We do that road quite often, gets worse everytime. I have also been behind some one in 4x4 but with hard tyres. When confronted, arrogant as hell. Spoilt our visit.

    My Coopers did the same. I was told that I abused the tire, under inflation, overloading, driven flat, pothole blah blah blah. So over them on Good year adventurers now no problems.

    I would not camp at all up there. Lived on Molteno for 30 years, the locals are opportunistic through out the area. Stay in safe places and be careful who you get friendly with.

    I am not sure if the Nossob airstrip is still functioning, last October it was unkempt and the hanger was a storage place.
