Re: Snomaster ice maker 12V on special

Apologies for the belated reply. It was freezing cold when I ran it. My guess is it'll be adequate for 1 or 2 people. I still need to use it more, and in full summer.

    Power draw was substantial. I...

Re: Solar system for my 40l Engel Fridge

    My 2c worth . . . .

Yagni. You don't need the solar.

You have the Engel 40L, advertised as having the lowest power draw of any 40L fridge. So do I ;D

    Assuming:

    Re: 12v Inverter recommendation

I have a phoenix 1200VA with a blue nova 108A battery. See it here.

The system is portable, but rather heavy. I can just carry it. That phoenix is very heavy.

The inverter is way oversized for...

Re: Ek is dom help my

As far as I know 75/15 means maximum 75V input from panels, up to 15A output to battery.

Apparently the voltage must never be exceeded, or the charger will get damaged.
    In other words the panel's...

Hi Mike. Which exact NL power pack do you have?

What kind of charging system will you use?

What battery are you planning to put in it?

  15. Re: Where to purchased BlueNova battery and Victron charge controller

The added BN bluetooth is hellishly expensive, 3.5k to 4k.

It doesn't give any usage graphs, doesn't show watts, only voltage and amps.

Leons, I had similar-ish results camping 2 weekends ago in Marakele. The engel 40L has (or had when I got mine) the lowest power draw out of all 40L 12V fridges, max 2.5A / hour. I guess this would...
