    When GM was still in the country, the oil spec for your engine was DEXOS II full synthetic. Isuzu has however moved away from that and are sticking 15W40...

    If you stick to 50ppm diesel, then 7,500km should be fine. If you still have access to 500ppm, then I'd strongly recommend every 5,000km

    The MGX is CJ-4 spec and the Gold Ultra is CI-4.
