The takealot one doesnít seem to be able to do AC Tig, so canít do aluminium. It also provides limited adjustment for Tig.

    Thank you for this.

I like the smart shunt... without a display it should come in a bit cheaper than the 712 (I hope)

Re: Mecer inverter and solar panels

Why not just get a normal solar charge controller?

For the price of the WRND, youíll be able to get a descent Victron MPPT.

This is not just on the Ranger, but all Ford products (and some other brands).

Best to replace with SS as listed.

I helped a lady at work with a flat tire just before lockdown.

This man didnít make a mistake. He clearly indicates that he will continue doing it, and has no remorse. That is not a mistake, but a blatant disregard for the bylaws

Most only have a Teflon layer on one side.

Recessed screws will also work fine.

Those slides are usually Teflon coated, and work well.

There are several places that supply them - maizeys plastics, cofab, nusaf dynamic tech to name a few.

I’m sure some of the 4x4 places...

    Re: charging batteries

If jump starting I would agree to use + terminal and grounded - away from battery.

But when charging, with the charger off while connecting, there shouldnít be any sparking.
