    Re: Motion Detector for Camping

The easiest might be a motion sensor like those used at the entrance of a shop, the simple bing-bong sound type. Range of view is fairly large and a tone can be chosen according to your needs, even...

All done. Not as bad as I expected. Removed the induction pipe between air filter and turbo, oil filter and oil rotor filter housing to get enough space to work.

As far as I can see its a bit of a job, especially since I've just serviced the car and would hate to remove the oil filter and rotor to make space.

Defender Td5 water pump weep hole

    Hi

While servicing my td5 this weekend I noticed a tiny drop or two and the dry residue of antifreeze running out of the weep hole on the water pump.

I'm sure that this means either the...

Defender Re: Aircon and fan not working defender 110

One can also eliminate the possibility that its the resistor - does the fan work on full speed only? If it does then it's most likely the resistor, if no then it will be something else. If not a fuse...

Forgot to add. The reason I got into reading up about the engine was due to high fuel consumption. Right now we getring about 100km on half a tank!

Re: Pre cat issues on a 1az-fse 2.0 vvti

Very interesting to hear about the cat foolers. A quick search leads to a few reasonable options.

What about fuelling, does removing the cat cause any trouble there? Rich or lean?
