Sounds more like you have a trailer wiring issue. Check the trailer plug plus the Disco plug for loose connections, shorts etc.

I dont think you have a leak anywhere but moisture build up/condensation from using the gas cylinder. Always a good idea when back from a camp to leave the door open to dry the box out.
