    We had a 2.4 gd6 fortuner 4x2 manual towed like a dream

    Both caravans
    My big trailer with the bikes on
    I towed cars on trailers

    And the best part was we still got 10kml

    A local guy here in Secunda does the keys
    It is Actually a BMW X5 key , just swopped the internals and cut the blank key was R400

    Is there a way to get more torque out of the 1.6 Duster ?

    Like a turbo kit , a chip or a remap ?

    Cant buy another car have to keep what I have just need a bit more torque

    In all honesty the 1.6 Dassie is not build to tow.

    It struggled with the slipstream

    100kmh some uphills down to 3rd gear 70kmh

    And an avarage of 8kml for the weekend 598988

    Towed the slipstream yesterday from Bethal to PTA

    100kmh in 4th gear , some uphills had to go to 3rd gear

    Its not the power I am use to but for a 1.6 I think it did not do to bad wht a loaded...

    The Duster had its first little shake down run this weekend

    From Bethal to witbank and from there to PTA and back to Bethal , about 373km

    Power wise its about the same for me as the two...

    Used my spray gun

    Did it in the garage , prepped , under coat and a satin black

    It was my first time attempting something like this [emoji85]
