Ours have not been problem free. We have had three "serious" issues in three years of owning two.

Off topic but just a funny comparison:

My son got his license in Florida.

    Re: Best RTT for 2021?

When you are short (like me) and getting old (like me) it is really nice not to have to climb up on top or up the side of the vehicle to tuck things in and zip covers on. It’s also nice to make the...

    3.0 TDI and dc-dc chargers

If Iím not wrong, the Defender 2.5 TDI was fitted with a 65a alternator.

Are there any issues fitting a 25a DCDC charger to them to charge a LIFEP04? I assume the vehicle regular loads would be...

Re: Not the best day for the D4s

So just as a point of interest - the diesel fuel pouring all over the place (we found at least a 2km-long slick) was due to a failed gasket on the fuel filter, which had been replaced by LR at the...

Re: Help connect inverter to Echo Power Panel Model EPP12AS

Not the best day for the D4s

So I have two well loved D4s - our 2012 has 250k on it and looks like it’s going in for either turbos or exhaust manifold. Not cheap either way.
