Yes. I think this has also confused young Kemp, and it is probably the reason for his absence... :)

Re: Power cut in Moreletapark pta east

I saw your whatsapp video - I thought it was just as a result of a huge downpour. I didn't realise you had a pump there permanently and that the power outage would result in the flooding. That is not...

I saw you guys there. We drove past each other a few times. :)

We made a last minute trip to Willemsrus because of the power outage in Pretoria East.

I understand it that god of overland (aka Tony) reckons it is the physical tyre itself. There are many threads on this.

Re: One or two spare wheels for Botswana

Dirk, I fail to see why my posts have been deleted.

Tony himself recommends wearing gloves when changing tyres or repairing punctures. I can find the URL for you if you like ?

    Also: Tony...

Re: One or two spare wheels for Botswana

On a serious note: your tyre repair kit should have steel handles. Not the plastic ones.
  16. Re: Wood in Hartbeespoort - Don't Buy Next to the Road

    It's Friday.

If, like me, you live in Pretoria East and have had no power since the night before last and no power to look forward to for the next 8 days, you may feel like braai-ing regularly.

It depends. I reckon if you've got a friend with a machine shop, you're sorted...

Although the machine shop guys are expensive, so it's probably cheaper just buying a new one... :)

As there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd versions of Super Select. But nobody mentions them.

It is a sad indictment of the Pajero section of this forum that this was never contributed.
