You are the second person today mentioning the Daiwa BG. They seem reasonably priced. I will go have a look at the 6500 or 8000. Perhaps it can double as a surf reel later on

Re: Mozam GT and Tuna lure advice

I'll defn take some GT ice creams with, always a good choice it seems! Same goes for the Halco's. There will be heavy trolling gear as far as I know, so hopefully we can get a marlin or even sailfish...

Agreed, rather pay a bit more to get the right lure(s) but cheaper alternatives will be 1st prize. At the end of the day fishing remains a gamble to some extent ;D

Re: Update on Border crossing conditions?

    Hi Zulu,

As far as I'm aware a proper PCR test is required to enter Moz, valid for 72 hours. Friends of ours have crossed yesterday and we will be doing the same in a week or so.

If a buyer EFTs, the bank sends a PoP immediately. If the supplier deems this sufficient (i.e. no need to wait for clearing of funds), then all should be good?

Forgot to add: if you plan on fishing with artlures at all, be wary of wind knots. FML they are a pain in the ass and no, I don't have a foolproof solution for you;D

Yup. Had mine replaced by Bulli last week. O-rings on right and left "T-pieces" worked out at +-R1500 in total (2 hours of labour made up the biggest part of this).
