Re: The annual Land Rover charity convoy

LROC will be there in support, unfortunately I really can't make it but there will be a good representation there. This is great initiative, hope it goes well.

    Re: Is this it?

I hate to say it but like most LR models these days it looks like it was built for the mall of Africa not the wilderness of Africa.

That said Iíd buy one (if I could afford it), would make a nice...

  4. Re: New Land Rover Defender - World Premiere 10 Sep 2019

Can't wait to see it and better yet, drive it! I probably won't be able to afford a new one, but I'm sure I'll own one when they start hitting the second hand market at the right price. 9 days to go...

Re: Freelander 2: black smoke when accelerating

Fixed this issue on two occasions, first was an air hose which wasn't attached by the mechanic and "blew off", second was the same mechanic forgetting to plug the fuel temperature sensor back in...

Re: Good Year Wranglers - 30k km

Turns out the tyres are perishing (2014 but bought in 2015). On top of that the back tyres have flat spots. Time to save up for some new one I guess.

  13. Re: Land Rover Discovery 4 2015 36000km recent service

Probably just a leaky sump plug or it wasn't replaced properly, they should be using a new one each time. Take it back to who ever serviced it, I'm sure they will sort it out for you :D Could also be...

Discovery 3 Re: Highest milage TDV6 on the forum

2011 Discovery 4 SDV6 now on 220,000km... still going strong. Cost me an alternator, a boost pipe and brake disks so far. Service every 12,000 (or one year) with LiquiMoly 5W30. Fuel filter changed...
